Abstract

In this study, we develop a dose-response multistage-4 zero- background model to describe the excess molar volumes of a binary mixture of 1, 1, 2, 2-tetrachloroethane and pyridine at 303.15 K. The experimental data employed in our model were obtained from Nath and Pandey (J. Chem. Eng. Data, 1996, 41, 844–847), who measured the excess molar volumes of the mixture at (303.15 ± 0.01)K.
