Abstract

Supramolecular chemistry is a rapidly growing field that focuses on the study of non-covalent interactions between molecules, which allows for the formation of complex, dynamic, and reversible assemblies. This review explores the key concepts of supramolecular chemistry, particularly the host-guest interactions, non-covalent forces, and self-assembly processes that underpin the formation of supramolecular structures. The article highlights various applications of supramolecular systems in diverse fields, including drug delivery, molecular sensors, nanotechnology, and catalysis. Despite its immense potential, the field faces challenges such as reproducibility, scalability, and integration with existing technologies. However, the future of supramolecular chemistry remains promising, with ongoing advancements in understanding molecular interactions and designing more efficient systems. This review underscores the significance of supramolecular chemistry in advancing both fundamental research and practical applications in a variety of scientific and industrial domains.
