Strengthening Cybersecurity In Mobile Banking For Sustainable Digital Financial Inclusion In India
Abstract
The Increasing Reliance On Mobile Banking Services In India Has Significantly Contributed To Advancing Digital Financial Inclusion. However, This Rapid Growth Has Raised Concerns Regarding The Security Of Mobile Banking Platforms, Which Are Vulnerable To Cyberattacks And Data Breaches. This Paper Explores Strategies To Strengthen Cybersecurity In Mobile Banking, Aiming To Enhance Trust And Security While Supporting The Sustainable Growth Of Digital Financial Services In India. We Analyze The Existing Cybersecurity Frameworks, The Emerging Threats In The Mobile Banking Landscape, And The Regulatory Efforts By The Indian Government And Financial Institutions. The Study Further Identifies Key Challenges, Such As Inadequate User Awareness And Technical Infrastructure Gaps, And Proposes A Multi- Layered Approach To Mitigate Risks.
