Abstract

Mobility as a Service (MaaS) is positioned as a pioneering paradigm set to revolutionize urban transportation systems worldwide. This comprehensive study embarks on an exploration of the foundational principles, imminent challenges, and potential transformative impacts of MaaS on the landscape of future urban mobility. At its core, MaaS represents a groundbreaking concept that seeks to provide seamless and user-centric mobility solutions to address the complexities and inefficiencies prevalent in contemporary urban transportation networks.
The essence of MaaS lies in its ability to integrate diverse transportation modes into a unified and interconnected platform. By amalgamating public transportation, ride-sharing services, bike-sharing initiatives, micro-mobility options, and other mobility services, MaaS aims to streamline the user experience, improve operational efficiency, reduce traffic congestion, and foster sustainability within urban transport ecosystems.
